Two new funicular ski Lungau Krivoy Rog!

Lungau, the southernmost ski resort area in Salzburg province, is believed to be targeted for sports and family entertainment. In this winter season 2011/12 on the slopes of the resorts will open two new lifts.

Two ski village Katschberg Aineck located at 1060 and 2220 m above sea level in the border region between Salzburg and Carinthia, deserves to become known outside Austria. Here in the winter season, will operate the new Silverjet II, 8-seater cable car 2,250 meters in length and covers a 520 meter vertical drop. From the top station there is a direct relationship with the valley A1, where the ski area begins Grosseck Speiereck. Thus, winter sports enthusiasts can experience 9 km descent.

In total Lungau has 32 lifts, 147 km of pistes with one ski pass. Nordic skiing is virtually unlimited since the ski resort Katschberg to Obertauern. Together they offer skiers 300 kilometers of slopes.

In this holiday season in the Lungau cost an average 300 per person in a double room.

The price includes seven nights in a guest house with breakfast, 6-day ski pass for the Lungau and many additional services, and ski rental.
