Snowman promotes tourism Krivoy Rog!

Legend of "Bigfoot", which became in 2009 a key element of the PR campaign to promote the Kemerovo region of Siberia as a tourist center, helped attract to the region since the beginning of the summer about 15 thousand tourists.

Such hype associated with spreading rumors about finding "Bigfoot" in Mountain Shoria. Proving facts were fiction and the best PR move local authorities to organize new tours, RIA "Novosti".

Recall that in February 2009, the administration of the Kemerovo region disseminated information that Mountain Shoria, in the taiga near Azasskoy caves (500 kilometers from Kemerovo) local hunters saw some humanoids, hairy, growth of 1.5-2 meters.

In late May 2009, the Kuzbass travel company began offering tours of the cave "Bigfoot".

Interviewed by Russian specialists in the field of advertising and PR reported that information disseminated in the media about the discovery in the Kuzbass Bigfoot (Yeti) will likely be released to attract tourists.

Head of the Department of Anthropology of the Moscow Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sergei Vasilyev said that the probability of the existence of the Yeti is negligible, as anthropologists have never met and did not investigate Bigfoot body.
