In the category "Europe's Best Restaurants 2009" Edition 1639 Zagat analyzed institutions from 27 cities from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Zurich (Switzerland). In compiling the list was used information taken almost 17,000 visitors. The guide highlights 101 Cuisines: from Bavarian and Basque to Turkish and Taskan. Despite all this variety, the absolute leader for experts became still Zagat Italian cuisine. It was followed by French and Mediterranean cuisine respectively. However, it should be noted that many respondents complained about the service. Therefore edition winners were by this criterion. In the first place, according to users, is Italy, followed by Spain and Ireland. Among the most-European restaurants were awarded places Ron Blaauw in Amsterdam, Thornton's in Dublin (Ireland), Passadis del Pep in Barcelona (Spain), Baraka in Budapest (Hungary), G. Ramsay/68 Royal in London (England) and Taillevent in Paris (France).
